1. Grantees are needed to help with composing and organizing bid sheets and item descriptions on Saturday, November 6.  If you are willing to volunteer, please see the Google Document below and scroll right to find the activity.
 
2. Grantees are needed for a variety of tasks during the weeks following the auction.  If you are willing to volunteer, please see the link below and scroll right to find the activity.

Grantee Tasks Sept. 6th

Hi grantees!

We have fewer tasks this time around, but please sign up.  Remember that you have to click the link to sign up.

Local Business Solicitations:  Approach about 8 to 10 businesses about donating items for the auction. Requires face time and follow up visits if necessary.  4 to 6 hours

Firm Solicitations: Requires calling approximately 10 law firms following up on letters sent during the summer.  You'll be given a script and information about each firm.  Approx 2 to 3 hours.

Break Down Night of the Auction: Nov. 13th. between 12:30 and 2:00 am.  Break down of the auction.  Approx 2 hours

Stuffing Envelopes: Two grantees needed to put local solicitation packets together. Approx 1 hour time commitment on Sept. 10th or Sept. 13th.

Hello Grantees!

Here's a list of the tasks that we need for the week.  We will keep the document open as long as we have slots open.  Remember that names that are listed after the orange box are NOT counted, and you may only sign up for a maximum of two tasks each week.  Here's a brief description of the tasks and an approximate number of hours for each. The spreadsheet is below and the tasks are divided up into categories.  Don't forget that you can't edit the spreadsheet here.  You need to scroll down and click on the hyperlink at the bottom!

Sept. 3rd Tasks

Local Business Solicitations:  Approach about 8 to 10 businesses about donating items for the auction. Requires face time and follow up visits if necessary.  4 to 6 hours

Ticket Sales week before Auction:  Exact time sign ups will come closer to the date. Approx 2 hours

Decorating Day of the Auction:  Nov. 13th, between 5 - 8pm.  Includes setting up and transporting decorations to the auction.  Up to 3 hours.

Break Down Night of the Auction: Nov. 13th. between 12:30 and 2:00 am.  Break down of the auction.  Approx 2 hours

Ticket Sales at the Auction: Good for those who may not want to attend the auction itself.  Exact time sign ups will come closer to the actual date.  Up to 3 hours. 

Excel Spreadsheet Data Entry: Weekly commitment up until the Auction beginning on October 1st [possibly earlier] dedicated to updating spreadsheet with new contract information. Will vary each week, but should be no more than 1 hour.  Closer to the Auction, we will add more positions like this. 

Contracts Manager: Requires a weekly 1 hour time commitment dedicated to copying contracts rec'd that week.  Can be up to 1 hour a week up until the auction depending on the actual need.  Exciting... I know.
